Privacy Policy
DestinyRoam is a one-person studio. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have over it.
What we collect
- Order data (via Stripe/PayPal): name, email, amount, product purchased. We never see or store your card number.
- Intake data (via our form): name, email, date/time/place of birth, time zone, and your questions. Birth details are personal data you give us explicitly so we can produce your reading.
- Usage data: we use privacy-friendly, cookie-less analytics that collect aggregate page-view statistics only — no cross-site tracking, no advertising identifiers.
How we use it
- To produce and deliver your reading or itinerary;
- To communicate with you about your order;
- To meet accounting and tax record-keeping obligations;
- With your separate consent only: to send an occasional newsletter you can leave anytime.
We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with advertisers. Ever.
Where it is processed and stored
Order records live in our payment processors' systems. Intake form submissions (birth details and your questions) are collected and stored in Feishu Base (a Lark/Feishu productivity platform by ByteDance, hosted on their secured cloud), which acts as our data processor under its published terms. Other service providers we rely on (payment processing, transactional email, hosting) act as data processors under their own published terms.
Retention
Order and payment records are kept as required for accounting/tax purposes. Intake birth details are kept while your order is active and for up to 12 months afterward to support follow-up questions — you can ask for earlier deletion (see below).
Your rights (GDPR and similar laws)
You may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent to optional communications at any time, by emailing [email protected]. We respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA/UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only, the server is firewalled and access-restricted, and payment data never touches our server. No method is 100% secure, but we practice data minimization: we ask only for what a chart requires.
Children
Our Services are for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
